Devil's Gate EP

Brian Parker This is an earlier recording of the song that would appear on their 2023 self-titled full length. It’s grimier, but if you ask me that suits this kind of metal just fine....
Ald O)))

Ald O))) Nuovo EP prodotto con una formazione ampliata e sonorità un poco differenti rispetto il passato dove si nota una certa maturazione stilistica generale. Forse preferivo le uscite precedenti ma anche questo è un ottimo lavoro. Favorite track: Devil's Gate.

Well these are gonna be my last days here. I'm wastin' away at times too dear. Somebody hold me I'm afraid. Buy me a ticket for a place to be saved! It's been too long since I've seen your face. It's been too long since I had a place. You never seemed to see until you had my heart. I'm driftin' by baby just torn apart. Somebody sat near this time it's for real. I'm just what you made me baby I never heal. And it's been too long since I seen your face Well it's been too long since I had a place And it's been too long since I seen your face Well it's been too long since I had a place oh yeah! Baby c'mon! It's been too long. I said its been a little bit too long now. Been too long. Since I, since i seen your since I've seen your pretty face. So cold without you baby. Been so long. So cold without you baby. Yeah I feel a little cold in the night time baby. Yeah I feel a little cold in the night time baby. And I feel a little cold in the night time baby. Since I since I've seen your face I need you baby. These are my my last days here yeah. These are my my last days here yeah. Its been too long since I've seen your face. And I feel a little cold in the night time baby. And I feel a little cold in the night time baby. And I feel a little cold in the night time baby. So cold. Oh my last days here!

about

Behold the newest conjuration of the SLOTH line-up. Earth pounding percussion, thundering low-end, psychic feedbacks, and sinister spells are invoked in this offering of the "Devil's Gate". Heavy-pysch and macabre fuzz worship. Inspired by the infamous dam in Pasadena, California of the same name, this bloodcurdling rock-bed in the shape of the Devil himself is known to be one of the portals to Hell. Due to this, the spot has been subject to occult masses and occult happenings at the gate persist even today. SLOTH conjures the high spirt of the Arroyo and Devil's Gate to bring you these new sonic incantations.

The title track, "Devil's Gate" features SLOTH's signature macabre fuzz and heavy-psych assault inspired by the occult landmark of the same name. The second track is a SLOTH cover of Pentagram's "Last Days Here". Paying homage to the doom-masters of the 70's, SLOTH takes "Last Days Here" in a new horror filled psychedelic direction with tripped out guitars and fuzz knobs cranked.

We hope you enjoy these new auditory indulgences. Keep your senses open for a full-length SLOTH album in your horizons...
